Lisa Binion lives on a small farm in Beattyville, Kentucky with her husband, daughter, 3 cats, 3 dogs, and 2 goats. Her passions are reading, writing, and editing.

For just under 3 years, Lisa has been the Fiction Writing editor at BellaOnline.com. She has written over 300 articles on subjects that have anything to do with writing. Her love of words has inspired her to pen several articles on homonyms, redundant phrases, and confusing words. Realizing that knowledge of every kind is important for the writer, she has written articles on unusual holidays, phobias, and collective nouns.  Writing prompts are the focus of many articles and are included in many of her other articles, as well.

To feed her ever growing appetite for great fiction, Lisa has had the pleasure of reading many great fiction books – Reign of Madness, Magic Bridge, The Ex Chronicles, and many more - to review. Not only that, but she has also had the privilege of interviewing many of the authors – Lynn Cullen, Thomasina Burke, Carol Taylor, as well as many others. These reviews and interviews can be found at her BellaOnline site.

At BellaOnline, Lisa also serves as one of the 3 fiction editors for Mused: BellaOnline Literary Review Magazine. It is her job to help decide which fiction articles appear in this quarterly magazine. She also serves as an ebook mentor, helping to proofread and edit ebooks before they are published.

Lisa is also a freelance editor. She proofreads and edits books and short stories for authors. Her list of clients include Richard A. Petracca and Rebecca Graf.
